UNLV is a large university providing many diverse services and functions. At times it may seem overwhelming, especially to those who only come to campus to teach once or twice a week. The information below should help with some basic functions that every instructor may need to address. Getting and Using a Rebel Card Part-time Instructors can get their card (at no cost to them for their first card) two weeks after the start of the Fall and Spring Semesters. Summer PTI must bring in to the RebelCard office a signed letter from their department head with the course and sessions they will be teaching. The RebelCard office is located in the Student Union room 118 between Starbucks and the U.S. Bank office. For more information about how to add money to your RebelCard or where you can spend it, go to the RebelCard Web site. Specific questions about RebelCards can be sent to idcard@nevada.unlv.edu. Employee ID & L-numbers Your RebelCard will have an L# assigned to you from the RebelCard Office. It is a 9 digit number preceded by an L. This number is primarily used by the RebelCard Office. This is NOT your employee ID number. Employee ID numbers are issued from Human Resources for limited purposes such as access WebCampus. On the back of your RebelCard is a bar code and number that is used for access to different libraries and their resources. Parking Other Services/Resources
