Professional Development

There are three main venues for faculty professional development: The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), Human Resources (HR) and the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Additionally, there are events and resources dedicated to very specific topics and so don’t have an ongoing organized support system.

The main organization for improving teaching & learning is the TLC. It is located centrally on the third floor of the Lied Library. A direct link to its web site is provided through the left side bar.

A special program offered by the TLC allows part-time faculty to enhance their instructional effectiveness in a formal way through a certificate program:
